Class Drop is based on horses being dropped in class. In theory they should have a better chance of winning than their last race. Unfortunately, bookies know this such that the system is unprofitable. We found certain race conditions where the SP’s were higher than expected and a profit returned.
Recent Winners with Penalty is based on fit and fancied horses. All previous winners go onto win about 20% of their next races. We are looking for more like 40% with this system.
Male, Good Recent Form follows male horses with good recent form. This system has supplied us with the most contenders this season and is showing a good profit. The original system sent in by M J Mcpherson had a strike rate of 27%. We found 2 more simple conditions which boosted the accuracy so that the strike rate was 40%, and it is on track to maintain that fine record.
Course and Distance Winner Topweights is another that has been around for a few years. Its theory is based on backing horses that have proven ability over the track and distance, and are the ‘best horses’ as according to the weights. We have waited a few months for this one as our research found that it was very unprofitable in the autumn. Now the winter season is in full swing there should be plenty of winners.
Maybe HB was sent in by Jake from Germany. He requested turf analysis but what we found was that the modified version worked equally well on the all weather. This is another system based on good recent form but specialises in the smaller handicap races.
Favourite First Time Colts is based on fancied colts having their first run on the all weather. We found a certain race type where this system should excel in. There may not be many contenders in the next few months but we are confident of a high strike rate.
